Debby Kweller, Innovative Care Systems, Inc. (ICS) CEO , has been responsible for the development of the ICS Employee Advocacy and Leave Management Program. ICS is a Leave of Absence administrator that understands the importance of managing both employee health and productivity to add human and financial value when administering all disability claims and absence events.
Working with employers, medical providers, health management services and claim payers, Debby has developed programs that coordinate health, disability and return-to-work management services across all employee benefit programs. These shareholder value-driven programs have reduced the incidence and cost of employee injury and illness, lowered overall employee benefit costs and improved employee health and productivity.
Before joining Innovative Care Systems in 1997, Debby was a Health and Productivity Management Consultant for Watson Wyatt. Her prior experience also includes serving as the Executive Vice President-Workers’ Compensation for one of the nation’s largest non-profit health care networks and the Executive Vice President and one of the original employees of a publicly held California specialty workers’ compensation insurance carrier.
Debby received her B. S. in Economics from Syracuse University , is a past chairman of the Insurance Education Association and past president of the International Insurance Accounting and Systems Association. She is also a Certified Professional Disability Manager and a California Licensed Property and Casualty broker.
