Bob Trotta, President

Bob has over 18 years of broad executive experience including program management, business development, strategic planning, systems development, finance and corporate administration.  In his current role, Bob provides leadership and executive management to new business development, marketing and operations.  Prior to joining ICS, Bob was responsible for managing the account managers and executives responsible for Sedgwick CMS’ disability and absence clients.  Prior to joining Sedgwick CMS in 2006 through the acquisition of VPA, Bob held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. 

He is known as an expert in the fields of State Disability, Leave of Absence and Paid Family Leave. He has presented to the State Disability Committee of the California State Senate, DMEC Conference and National Business Group on Health/ Integrated Benefits Institute Conference.  He is a licensed independent adjuster in the State of New York for Accident & Health.  He has been quoted in Business Insurance, Risk and Insurance, Employee Benefit Plan Review, and The Orange County Register.

Prior to joining VPA, Bob was the Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for CORE. His background also includes financial analysis, training, and mergers/acquisitions. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
